Bio

Originally from Truchas, a village located at the base of the Rocky Mountains’ southernmost point, Alicia Inez Guzmán holds a PhD in Visual and Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester, New York. She is a contributing faculty member at Santa Fe University of Art and Design in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and a freelance writer focusing on mestizo and indigenous land based art and histories of land use.
